This policy explains what Milano Pizza & Pasta collects when you use this website, why, and who else sees it. It describes what the site actually does — not a general statement of intent.
What we collect
When you place an order, you give us:
- Your name
- Your phone number — required, so the kitchen can reach you about your order
- Your email address, if you provide one
- Your delivery address, if you choose delivery
- What you ordered, including any notes you add for the kitchen
The website also records a one-way hash of your IP address. It is used only to count requests for rate limiting, so one visitor cannot overwhelm the site. The hash cannot be reversed back into your IP address.
What we never collect
We do not receive, store, or process your card details. Payment is handled entirely on Clover’s own hosted checkout page. Your card number never reaches this website or its database. We are told only whether a payment succeeded.
Cookies and browser storage
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies, and does not track you across other websites. Your basket is kept in your own browser’s local storage so it survives a page refresh; it never leaves your device until you place an order. Staff signing in to the private management area receive a session cookie from Cloudflare Access.
Who else sees your information
- Clover — processes card payments and receives your order details, name and contact information so the payment and receipt match your order.
- Cloudflare — serves this website and protects it from abuse. Requests pass through their network.
- Supabase — hosts the database holding menu and order records, on servers in the United States.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.
Marketing
We only send marketing email if you explicitly opt in at checkout. It is off by default, and you can ask us to stop at any time using the contact details below.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept so we can answer questions about past orders, handle refunds, and meet accounting obligations. If you want your details removed, contact us and we will delete what we are not required to keep.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Order by phone instead if you would rather not enter anything on this website at all.
